B & B Casa Soresina takes its name from my mum who chose it for the perfect tranquility of the hill it is situated on and that it is just a stone’s throw from the sea. Our house has always been full of friends of all ages, nationalities who were always keen to come and spend time here, so really it was a natural progression to turn it into a B & B. I am happy to welcome guests into my home, to look after them and spoil them with genuine home-grown fruit and vegetables from my garden and orchard. I am open, friendly and enthusiastic. I love sport and the outdoors. I speak English well and have a decent level of French and Spanish through having travelled extensively in many modes and places since childhood.
I love this region, and this is reflected in my knowledge of the places I look forward to sharing with you to make your stay with us a memorable one.
Casa Soresina is in Offagna, a perfect medieval village which lies just a short distance from the spectacular coast of Monte Conero and numerous other delightful towns resplendent in culture and history.
What could be better than starting your day with a good breakfast served in the garden, immersed in the green olive grove and fruit trees?

the houseBuilt in the '80s, the house has just been completely renovated. Not only aesthetically but also to make it as environmentally friendly as possible. The solar and photovoltaic panels make the house almost completely self-sufficient for its heating, electricity and water systems.

the gardenIt is a big garden, and one that blends into the countryside that surrounds it. On one side there is the orchard, and on the other the olive grove. The vegetable patch is small but fruitful, providing the B & B and my family with tomatoes, eggplants and peppers. One corner has been given over to medicinal herbs, for our own homemade herbal teas. There is also a tennis court with synthetic grass, ideal for a couple of friendly strokes between amateurs. |
the breakfastWhen the weather permits, which during the warm season means almost every day, breakfast is served on the porch. Coffee and tea are accompanied by fresh bread, biscuits, cakes, jams and tarts – all homemade, and for those who prefer a savoury start to the day, there are cold meats and cheeses. Cooking for me means experimenting and creating, so it’s unusual to find the same thing on the table every morning.
